Helen’s picture is a black and white print made in the conventional way in a darkroom. We think it has lots of atmosphere and suggests an interesting narrative. It’s a very strong image.
Watch this space for the announcement of the prizewinners for this competition…
Opportunity: We have one place left for a person to study on the course. It’s a special year with it coinciding with the first year of PhotoHastings. These things rarely happen and this is one of those moments.
If you want this place make contact now.
After 2 years of really hard work our 2nd years pulled off a brilliant show, exhibiting a broad range of images. The work was as diverse as is possible within a relatively small group of students (11) but ranged from fine art to documentary, digital and analogue, black and white and colour and still and moving image. The opening night was really well attended and equally well received. A selection of comments from the opening night: ‘Well done everyone!! Splendid Show’ SG ‘Beautifully executed exhibition, very professional’ L ‘Some brilliant talent in this town! – All of you – well done. Loved the diversity’ JT
And from the tutors: Very well done all of you, an impressive show, we wish you every success in your new adventures. Lucinda, Alex and Nigel
Come and meet our students and see their work, it’s interesting, varied and of a really high standard, we look forward to seeing you this Friday.
Or, if you’re unable to come on Friday, the show’s opening times are as follows:
Saturday 28th June 10 am – 2pm
Monday 30th June 10 am – 8pm
Tuesday 1st July 10 am – 6pm
